Charming Jewish Wedding at Beth-El Synagogue

Jake + Sydney

This celebration was an extra special one for me as Jake and I have been friends since all the way back in elementary school and Sydney is a new friend! Originally, Sydney and Jake had different plans for their big day. However, the job offer of a lifetime prompted the need to move their celebration up by a year. With not long to plan, they somehow kept their cool through all the ups and downs of changing venues, DIY-ing decor, and prepping for an out-of-state move at the same time. All their work paid off and their celebration was beautiful and heartwarming. It began with several Jewish traditions including a Ketubah signing. Their ceremony came next, ushered in by Sydney’s brother and his girlfriend as flower adults. The couple took their Yichud after, guarded carefully by the same pair. After the ceremony, guests traveled to a nearby social hall for a lively and cheerful reception.
