We are Maya and Michael, a queer, nonbinary spouse + spouse team living our absolute dream job of traveling the globe capturing unique love stories.
When we got married, we had an incredibly difficult time finding vendors that respected our identities and didn't try to shove us into a 'bride and groom' label that didn't fit us.
Ever since then, we've been working as a team to provide the wedding services we wished we had back then. Our goal in life is to help the wedding industry grow into a more accepting and inclusive space in every little way we can.

I'm Maya and I'm the founder and lead photographer of Maya Lovro Photography. I was formally educated in both digital and traditional fine arts and bring those creative foundations to capturing celebrations in an editorial, detail-focused style.

I'm Michael and I'm the second photographer for Maya Lovro Photography. Before working with Maya, I worked on film sets for television and movie production. I use what I learned in the film industry to capture weddings in a documentary style focused on allll the best candid moments.
Unrelated to weddings, you can talk to me all day about any show involving giant robots.
