Gay Elopement at Historic Allegheny County Courthouse

Friends and family came early to help set up some simple, elegant decor on the grand staircase of the Allegheny County Courthouse. Isaac, walked in my his mother, and Anuj, walked in by his dear friend, entered simultaneously down the historic stairs. The ceremony was short and full of smiles – led by my all time favorite officiant, Mark of a Simple Vow. After the ceremony, I took the couple (both not from Pittsburgh!) to Oakland and we explored Oakland’s beautiful collection of architectural wonders as well as some of the Panther Hollow Nature Trail. Isaac and Anuj are having a follow-up celebration next year and I can’t wait to venture to Detroit to capture that day too.
