This celebration was a beautiful fusion of Amber + Takumi’s rich cultural heritages, seamlessly blending elements of both Japanese and Jewish traditions. They chose a spring palette of pinks, silvers, and sage – a perfect match to the tranquil backdrop of Phipps Conservatory’s outdoor garden. They sealed their commitment on a hand-drawn ketubah crafted by the couple themselves. Their ceremony honored elements from both cultures – beginning with seven circles and ending with san san ku do and the smashing of glass. The festivities continued into the night with a lively horah dance, a sake ceremony, and a surprise live Taiko drumming performance during dinner.
