Cozy Fall Pagan Handfasting at Mayernik Center

Full of fantasy elements and nods to Pagan roots, Sam and Keaton’s day was whimsical and elegant. The decor was seeped in cherry reds and toasty oranges, the perfect palette for a fall celebration. The Mayernik Center was the perfect venue, with its wooden lodge used for the ceremony and gorgeous manicured grounds for photos and adventure. Sam and Keaton had some special touches to their day, including a handmade cake baked by a friend and an extra cake to surprise a family member whose birthday happened to be the same day. They also surprised me with a first, they gave me a framed artwork! It’s a gorgeous painting of two photographers exploring a mountaintop set in a sea of stars. It sits proudly above my bed. I’ll never forget this celebration for that, and for just how much love there was that day. I’ll also never forget their super sweet first dance which was set on a bed of wispy clouds along the floor.
