Intimate Wedding at the Pittsburgh Zoo During the Asian Lantern Festival

The Pittsburgh Zoo is always a beautiful spot for a wedding. Fun fact: I’ve photographed more weddings at the Zoo than any other single venue in Pittsburgh! The Zoo is a great venue for the non-traditional couple and it’s even more special during the portion of the year when it hosts its annual Asian Lantern Festival. In addition to getting to see animals and marine life, guests and the couple get to celebrate surrounded by beautiful paper lanterns. And when they light up at night? Magic. Jackie and Adam’s day was simple, relaxing, and lovely. They chose aqua as an accent color, to match the aquarium where their celebration was held. The couple shared a short ceremony, explored the Zoo, and danced the night away. It was a night of good food, good music, and good friends.
