Backyard Senior Portrait Session with Chickens

I met L and L’s mom at their absolutely dreamy home nestled in the middle of woods. L wanted a non-traditional senior session that wasn’t uncomfy or overly posed. I love doing senior portraits for that exact reason – graduation is a milestone and everyone deserves photos that make them feel themselves at this moment. L and I wandered around the beautiful property her home sits on as she gave me a tour and we took photos of places that hold special memories. My favorite part – she introduced me to her wonderful chickens and, yes, I DID get to hold one!
