I’ve got to be honest – shooting at the Carnegie Museum is HARD. You can’t bring in supplemental lighting and each room brings its own lighting challenges. Also, you can’t carry a bag! This means I have to work with just one lens. With all these challenges – I was a little nervous going into this session. But, soon after we started, my fears melted away. Emily and Meg are such wonderful people and their humor and genuine appreciation for art and for each other made for an absolutely lovely afternoon. They are so casual and chill, several times I forgot we were even shooting a session and not just three pals hanging out at the museum! I cannot wait to photograph their wedding next fall.
